The Midnight Sun
Above the Arctic Circle, the sun never sets during part of the summer. The further north, the longer the period - and on Nordkyn, you can enjoy continual sun for over two months from mid-May to late July.
Perhaps it feels strange to go to bed when the Midnight Sun is still above the horizon. You might as well go out to sea or walk from lake to lake and fish.
The bright light at night provides a magical impression of nature, glowing in a pink or red colour. Many of the recommended daytime hikes are even more exciting in the middle of the summer night.
