The Siida in the North

Sleeping in a lavvu is a natural, comfortable way to learn about Sami culture and cuisine.

Spend a night as the Sami people have done for centuries; sleep in a Lavvu on a velvety mattress of birch branches.

We teach you how to prepare your own meal on an open fire inside the lavvu - a unique culinary experience!

We also have two fully equipped cabins, with toilet, communal bathroom and sauna.

We will tell you about the Sami culture and their way of living, chant a joik (Sami song), and take a closer look at our traditional handicrafts, called duodji in the Sami language.
